The precise level of involvement varies from person to person but here are a number of ways by which you can support us: Become a Volunteer with Carers Resource We currently need volunteers in the following areas of our work: Volunteer fundraisers …. we are setting up a fundraising committee to seek out creative and worthwhile ways to raise funds by local fundraising. If serving on this committee isn’t for you could you arrange an event, run an auction, car boot sale, or gain sponsorship for something you are bursting to do or achieve to raise funds for Carers Resource in your community. We just know there are some really creative ideas and talents just waiting to be used – so don’t be shy we need you! Become a Member of Scarborough & Ryedale Carers Resource By joining us and becoming a member YOU CAN: ü Demonstrate your personal support for our work with carers ü Influence the future development of the organisation ü Stand for election as a Trustee to serve on the Trustee Board (after 6 months membership) ü Become part of our vibrant and committed organisation and join in our developing programme of special membership events.
