'One to One' Support

'One to One' support from a Carers Resource member of staff

If a carer requires more in depth support one of our Support & Information Officers can arrange to see them face to face. This can be at the carers home, or other convenient venue such as a library, cafe or GP surgery.

The Support & Information Officer will work with the carer to decide what support they need to help make their lives easier and more fulfilling. They will then plan together how this will be achieved. This may be via referrals to other agencies, information, benefits or other advice from the worker, or by introducing the carer to one of the other services provided by Carers Resource such as a support group.
